Greg and his wife Linda moved from Minneapolis in 1989 with their two children Jennifer and Jeff, to open the Play It Again Sports Store franchise in Rochester. They were the second franchise in the nation that at one time had over 700 stores across the nation. In 1992 they purchased the franchise right’s for a second store located in Mason City, Iowa. They successfully managed both stores and sold the Mason City store in 1996 and the Rochester store in 2001. Greg served on various nationwide committees throughout the 12 years of store ownership, culminating in the chairmanship of the National Franchise Advisory Council.
After selling the stores Greg & Linda purchased a fixer upper home as an investment. It was through the refurbishing and subsequent selling of this home that Greg found a passion for Real Estate and has been at it ever since.
He has been in sales and marketing for over 30 years. His formula for success in sales is quite simple, listen and understand what the customer’s/client’s needs are and find solutions to meet those needs.
Greg spends his time with his wife and best friend Linda, involving himself with his church, enjoying his grandchildren and golfing.
